Also, he did destroy some planets, but it comes out more like a sort of Blue-and-Orange Morality. One wonders if he was ever really serious about it in the first place. As for destroying Earth: Sure, Beerus says that he's going to, over very petty stuff such as not being invited pudding no less, yet he constantly keeps delaying, holds back his power with Goku during their fight to allow Goku to get a hold of the Super Saiyan God transformation, and even decides not to destroy Earth in the end. Harsh as it may sound now, King Vegeta was also an Evil Overlord and an overall horrible individual and his son wasn't much better at the time so that bit of humility was well deserved. Is Beerus really as evil as his status as antagonist suggests? Let's take a look at his crimes: He humiliated King Vegeta in front of his son, and tried to blow up Earth.overall i think it needed just a tiny bit more detail, but very good movie. I think the transformation wasn't the best design, i would have liked a form like Super Saiyan 4 with fur like SSJ4 but in gold color, and Gold Super Saiyan 4 hair style with the electricity like SSJ 2 and 3 and a Gold aura. I think they could have added more detail into the New characters Beerus/Bills and Whis.
I know some people argue that GT isn't part of the original DBZ, but in GT Goku (or any other saiyan) could have transform into Super Saiyan God to fight Baby or Shenron.
I really liked the movie, but i think the major flaws were that the fight scenes were very short, and the fact that adding a new saiyan form didn't really fit in with the rest of the episode like GT.
